This NBA season I
began with the Milwaukee Bucks. I spent some time off during
the Holidays only to return back to Milwaukee shortly after. The
Bucks had some injuries and had to go smaller with guards and I was
waived. I also played a 10 day contract in Houston with Tracy
McGrady and the Rockets. The Phoenix Suns have since picked me up
and I was able to spend time with them as well. We're hoping to find
a home for the rest of the season as it's always hard bouncing around this
much, but I'm enjoying my year and have a lot of options in front of me.
Having spent time with
three new coaches has given me a new perspective on the game and a lot of
different looks at how to train for being one of the elite in the NBA.
I'm taking it all in and will be bringing the experience that comes with
this NBA season to camp next summer.
We're changing the
dates for this years camp to fit into everyone's schedule better.
Monday, June 26th thru Thursday June 29th are the dates we've decided
upon. It will be at Salem Academy High School and will be for high
school boys basketball players. That would include players that will
be freshman during the 2006-2007 school year up to players that will be
seniors during that same school year.
We're looking forward
to our 2nd annual Josh Davis Hoop Camp and anticipate a larger number with
even more competition than we had last year. For those of you who
came last year; we appreciate you guys and your willingness to work and
get better. We hope you see you again this year. If you didn't
attend last year, get ready to work hard - body and mind.
Our coaching staff is
anticipating an awesome group of young men and can't wait to work hard
improving your sons game!
If you have any
questions for this years camp you can directly contact Bret Lytle at any
time via email
(bclytle@yahoo.com).
I look forward to seeing you next summer.
